The best christmas episode ever!
This is the best christmas episode I’ve ever seen.
Although it’s the show’s only christmas-themed episode, it’s definitely worth it.
I very much like the two plot lines we get in this episode. Without spoiling anything, Dennis and Dee tries to execute a replica of a very famous christmas movie with Frank, which leads into a ton of memorable scenes and laughs. What I like even more, is Mac and Charlie’s story where they find out dark things about their pasts. Charlie’s plotline is probably even my favorite plotline of the whole show. At least one of them. That plotline leads to a lot of dark humour, and a ton of blood.
This episode is basically a parody on (or at least compared to) some classic christmas movies, like Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, Bad Santa, A Christmas Carol, White Christmas and more. Some people mah have a tradition where they watch Christmas movies like Elf, Home Alone, Love Actually, The Holiday or/and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (amongst others) every christmas, but to me, it’s Always Sunny.
This is the best christmas episode I have seen in my life, and it’ll always remain my favorite for the next 1000 years.

Perfect start of season 7.
Wow, I am so late to this amazing anti-sitcom show and man I cannot stop talking about it. This is a true gang episode that is funny from the very start. I am so excited to see where the gang goes next.

How did the Slavs celebrate Sunny Christmas? | Culture
Who is he, this Kolyada? Alas, in Slavic mythology, with the exception of the Book of Veles, the authenticity of which is recognized by far from all researchers, there is negligible information about this mysterious character.
But in European sources there are references to him as God – the ruler of time.
And really: who else can ensure the growth of daylight, shortened, reversed by the evil god of the underworld Karachun? Only those who are vested with the appropriate authority. And the name Kolyada is not at all accidental. After all, from ancient times the solar disk, which the Slavs worshiped, was called Kolo (how can one not remember that the Scythian king Koloksai was a solar king, and the epic prince Vladimir was called the Red Sun).
Our distant ancestors believed that the Sun, which was born on the night of December 24-25, was a baby who was stolen by a witch and turned into a wolf cub (that is why carol rituals were supposed to begin with a wolf howl, which was emitted not by anyone, but by a revered magician).
And only when in the spring they remove the animal skin from Kolyada and burn it on fire, he will appear in all his grandeur and splendor. In anticipation of this hour, it was customary to send the “Sun” (i.e., its image) on a sleigh to the south, or to roll a burning wheel uphill, without fail saying: “Roll uphill, come back with spring.”
The festivities in honor of Kolyada, which lasted from December 25 to January 6, had an interesting name: “sparrow’s lope” – because the day came little by little, exactly at a distance accessible for one leap of this glorious bird.
The rite of caroling was also filled with deep meaning. At first glance, these are just funny games, in which mummers went to the houses of their fellow villagers, collecting all kinds of treats.
But in fact, this action involved a serious exchange, a mutual gift: the older generation shared with the young accumulated material wealth, otherwise it passed on the young strength of the spirit.
Divination was made for Kolyada using water, snow and ice. Girls, for example, went to the well at night and looked into it, trying to find out their future share. And then they brought water from there in a ladle and splashed it on the ninth crown of the house: it was believed that if you get it, you will get married in the new year. In addition, they threw the boot over the barn: if he flew over, then they did not doubt the imminent marriage.
And it would be nice to remember!..

A few hours of flight, and the fairy tale will spin. There will be no snow and frosty wind. But the hot sun, crystal clear water and golden beaches are the best replacement for the attributes of winter that are familiar to us.
Guests here expect a unique climate, considered the best in the world, as well as one of the most developed hotel infrastructures in Europe.
The Canarian archipelago will surprise travelers with a variety of opportunities. Here you can ride a tour bus, take a walk through biosphere reserves of world importance or ride a camel. You can visit an amusement park or take a dip in the natural salt water pools to feel reborn (Gran Canaria). The list of entertainment is very long: museums, musical performances, excursions. A huge selection of activities to which you can add beaches, nature, rich history and culture, sports opportunities and much more.
Extreme lovers can celebrate the New Year by surf or kite breaking the waves. The islands of Fuerteventura and Tenerife are most suitable for this. Sky lovers – skydiving or bungee jumping (Easy to do on the islands of Lanzarote and La Palma). Alpinists will start 2016 by conquering new peaks (Tenerife) and divers making discoveries in saturated coastal waters (El Hierro).
The only thing that can disturb travelers is the thought of how not to miss anything when discovering the paradises hidden on the islands. Extreme sports spots are available on almost every island.
In December, festive Christmas markets take place on the islands. Thus, in the traditional Vegeta market in Las Palmas, in the northeast of Gran Canaria, you can not only buy handicrafts, fruits and vegetables, but also see the local culture in all its colors. Every Sunday, Pilar Nuevo Square, one of the most beautiful historical corners of the city of Las Palmas, located on the island of Gran Canaria, offers a wide selection of quality products, music and children’s attractions. There are several markets on the island of La Palma. The most famous are the Puntagodra market and Los Llanos de Argual, where hand-blown glass products and products with an ecological certificate are presented.
