Logitech’s G Pro X Superlight is its lightest wireless gaming mouse yet

Not to be outdone by manufacturers gunning to make the lightest gaming mouse out there (like the recent 66-gram SteelSeries Aerox 3 Wireless), Logitech’s new G Pro X Superlight weighs less than 63 grams without the need for holes. Most other manufacturers are punching honeycomb-shaped hole patterns out of their mice to achieve lighter weights, while Logitech’s latest is simple and smooth all over. In fact, it actually weighs about 63 grams, but if you remove the magnetic plate on the bottom that covers the USB wireless receiver, the weight goes down to 60 grams. The G Pro X Superlight will go on sale on December 3rd.
The Superlight is a lighter version of Logitech’s popular $130 G Pro Wireless, which weighs 80 grams — and if you haven’t experienced a gaming mouse that’s this light, it’s on the verge of feeling like a hollow prototype. Despite losing some weight (along with a few features), the Superlight has added $20 to the price tag, costing a whopping $150.

Weight differences aside, there are several other tweaks worth knowing about. The Superlight comes in a matte-textured off-white finish in addition to an all-black finish that resembles the G Pro Wireless. It looks and feels fantastic. The newer mouse has far fewer LEDs, which Logitech says aids in cutting back the weight and maximizing battery life. The glowing “G” logo near the palm is gone, as are the LEDs located near the scroll wheel to indicate the DPI sensitivity. There’s just one small LED now, and it only tells you battery status.
It’s not much of a surprise that having fewer LEDs results in better battery life, but Logitech claims this model can reach up to 70 hours per charge compared to 48 hours with the G Pro Wireless.

The Superlight has the same HERO 25,600 DPI sensor as the G Pro Wireless, so you can expect the same great performance here, but you can’t easily change the sensitivity on this mouse, as Logitech lopped off the DPI switching button that’s located on the bottom of the G Pro Wireless. You’ll need to swap it, along with profiles stored on the mouse, manually using the G Hub software.
Logitech also removed the modular, removable buttons from the G Pro Wireless that helped it achieve a true ambidextrous design. Instead of supporting left- and right-handed gamers, the Superlight is just for right-handers, with thumb buttons along the left edge of the mouse.
On the Superlight’s underside, the PTFE feet are significantly larger than on the G Pro Wireless. Logitech used a “zero-additive” material, which it says results in a smoother glide across surfaces. The circular, magnetic plate that covers the section where you can store the USB wireless receiver is usually hard plastic, but included in the box is an all-PTFE plate that can be swapped in its place. Logitech also provides some grip tape that can be stuck on the mouse, if you want a different texture. These are the changes that I’m most fond of.

For most people, the aforementioned SteelSeries Aerox 3 Wireless might be a better mouse to try. It isn’t perfect, but it’s $100 and has USB-C charging (versus the Superlight’s Micro USB charging), with optional LEDs, dual Bluetooth, and 2.4GHz connectivity. And to top it off, it has IP54 water resistance. What gamer actually needs water resistance? Not many, I assume. But even so, it’s tough to make the argument for the pricier Superlight when it comes to value, unless you’re bent on its minimalist design above all else.

CRICRI is an ultralight twin-engine aircraft. The cost of flights to San Marino
Anyone who considers himself a connoisseur of light aviation, whether amateur or professional, has heard more than once about a single aircraft weighing only 63 kg with a slightly ridiculous name CRICRI.
But few people know that the first mention of it appeared back in 1958. This period was marked by the rapid development of domestic aircraft construction. The designer from Rueil-Malmaison set to work on the smallest and most economical model aircraft under the motto “This aircraft is for everyone.”
Already in 1972, he had a prototype of the current CRICRI in his garage, and a month and a half later the aircraft was fully operational. This plane glorified its creator.
The press, and not only aviation, collected information about the design engineer. The pioneer of ultra-small aviation was the French designer Michel Colomban.
His small, high-speed aircraft aroused great interest among all aviation enthusiasts. At first glance, it looks unusual, as it had too angular fuselage shapes and a large cockpit canopy. One of the main differences was the unique arrangement of two engines, which at that time was an exclusive in the world practice.
The first public flight took place in the summer of 1973. At the helm was Robert Buisson, who has at least 12,000 flight hours on his account. When testing CRICRI, a number of shortcomings and minor shortcomings were identified.
In the autumn of the same year, “work on the bugs” began, and already in January 1974, the tests were resumed. For 13 hours of flight CRICRI did without a single breakdown. During the test, numerous figures and turns, barrel rolls and even inverted flights were performed. The aircraft reached a maximum speed of 220 km/h, while fuel consumption was only about 9dm. cube / hour. Meanwhile, potential customers were already lining up. The initial order was about 20 thousand copies.
In 1975, during another test, there was a failure in the fuel supply to the engine, which led to the failure of two engines at once. Fortunately, no one was hurt, but the CRICRI was beyond repair.
The designer began work on the improvement of the ultralight aircraft. The premiere flight of the new CRICRI No. 4 (F-WYEA) took place in a Parisian public park and was demonstrated by J. Constant.
To date, the exact number of CRICRI aircraft built is not known. About a hundred copies fly in the airspace of Europe and America. More than six hundred sets of drawings were sold by the designer to different countries of the world. For other passenger planes, the cost of air tickets is quite low, which cannot be said about the CRICRI ultralight aircraft, but this does not stop potential customers.

Light protective suit L 1: description and characteristics
Light protective suit L 1 was commissioned in 1984 and is still in use. It creates a comprehensive protection against radioactive, chemically and biologically harmful components, allowing a person to maintain physical activity. In accordance with the government decree of April 27, 2000 No. 379, the chemical protection suit L1 is included in the list of protective equipment for the civilian population. It is classified as a means of occasional use.
Rubberized chemical protection suit L1 weighs about 3. 5 kg and does not belong to the category of insulating, as it does not provide absolute tightness. It is made of rubberized material UNKL-3 and special fabric T-15.
Suit L1 is designed to prevent the ingress of hazardous components in solid, liquid and gaseous states onto human skin and underwear. It is used against the effects of dust of radioactive origin, suspensions, hazardous chemicals, aerosols that spread in open areas or indoors. The purpose of the suit L 1 involves its sharing with other personal protective equipment. In this case, the composition and concentration of hazardous components must be precisely established.
Description of the suit
The rubberized suit L1 is completed with a jacket with a hood, rubberized mittens and semi-overalls with galoshes. Along the edges of the sleeve elements there are cuffs tightly encircling the wrist, which excludes the ingress of dangerous substances on the skin. Polymer fasteners are provided for fixing on the body. Carrying unassembled is carried out using a bag.
Chemical protection suit L1 is distinguished by its compact size and light weight. For maximum protection, the jacket is worn directly over the head. The hood closes tightly with a zipper. Gloves with three compartments for index, thumb and other fingers guarantee full mobility of the hand to perform the necessary operations.
Control over the manufacturer of the L1 suit is carried out by the representative office of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, and the product itself meets the current GOST 12.4 in terms of protective ability. 103-83. The quality of the light protective suit L1 must be certified by the relevant certificates provided for by the legislation of the Customs Union, as well as a passport with a mark of acceptance by the QCD.
Putting on the suit
Wearing the product is allowed in three modes – marching, “ready” and combat. In the first version, it is folded into a bag and ready to be carried, in the second it is dressed without PPE, in the third it is buttoned as tight as possible, a respirator or gas mask is used as equipment.
Putting on the L1 suit in contaminated areas requires the correct sequence of actions. To do this, you need to:
- get the kit from the carrying case;
- put on the trouser half of the suit;
- throw the fasteners over the back and attach the overalls to the trousers;
- put on the jacket and fix its intermediate fasteners;
- put on a belt if necessary;
- put on a respirator or gas mask;
- pull the hood well, put on a helmet or helmet over it;
- put on gloves, making sure they securely grip the base of the palms;
- fasten the sleeve loops.
At an outside air temperature above +15°C, the L1 suit is put on over underwear, at a range of 0 to +15°C over a combined arms set, and at sub-zero temperatures over uniforms appropriate to weather conditions.
Putting on the protective suit L1 requires special skills, so the personnel of the units performing tasks using this product must undergo special training.
Specifications
Specifications of protective suit L1 allow it to be used at temperatures from -40 to +36°C. The time of use of the product is determined by the norms of the Labor Code. The protective properties of the suit do not allow it to be used to extinguish fires.
Available in four sizes, each with a different height, shoe size and bust size. The characteristics of the L1 suit are designed for people with a height of 158 cm and a shoe size of 37. In the case of a combination of parameters of different sizes, for example, shoes 46 (fourth size), and a chest circumference of 105 cm (third size), you should choose a larger suit.
The suit has a time-limited protection period, after which it loses its properties. After completion of work, thorough cleaning and treatment with disinfectants, such as chloramine or bleach, is required.
Seams and stitched parts are sealed with protective tape. The product is made from a single-layer fabric T-15, on which a rubber layer up to 0.
