MTS launches a gaming platform with which you can earn money on your computer / Sudo Null IT News With the help of MTS Fog Play, tenants will be able to launch “heavy” games on their devices via the Internet.

Digital platform users can remotely rent a computer with the required power and run even “demanding” games on smartphones, laptops, weak PCs, TVs, and even set-top boxes with Android TV. The maximum supported quality is 4K resolution at 60 fps.

Stories from the computer club, when a certain VoVaN777 deleted your saves, will not be here – the progress is automatically saved in the MTS Second Memory cloud storage. But for now, the cloud save function is working in test mode and is not compatible with all games, work is underway on this. For the convenience of the gamer, he can connect a gamepad or use the virtual joystick mode to play games from a smartphone or TV.

The computer can be selected by the list of pre-installed games, processor and video card characteristics, RAM size, signal delay and rental cost. If the quality of the connection or the assembly power is insufficient, the session can be ended within five minutes after starting the game, and the money will be returned to the card.

Those who wish to make money on their “iron” will be able to leave application on the company’s website. Next, you need to go through moderation, set up a guest account in Windows, download the desired (or just popular) games and install software from MTS to join the decentralized MTS Fog Play system. Detailed instructions are on the website.

To connect a computer to the platform, it must meet the minimum requirements:

  • Nvidia GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon RX 580 or higher graphics card;

  • operating system Windows 10 or 11;

  • speed from 20 Mbps for incoming and outgoing connection.

The tenant sets the amount of rent himself, taking into account the capacity of the equipment, the quality and speed of the Internet. There are no restrictions, equipment owners will compete with each other for customers. The fee for using the service for tenants will be 20% of the price set by them. A personal account is provided where you can view the number and duration of game sessions, as well as withdraw earned money.

“The creation of MTS Fog Play is the first step towards MTS to the Web3 Internet, where a large company acts not as a single data repository, but becomes a conductor between a decentralized network of users. The distributed system solves the problem of classic cloud gaming, where data centers are located too far from many players. Decentralization allows you to install a server in almost every district in the city – the more users are connected to the “foggy” service, the lower the signal delay will be, ”said Ilya Tselikov, director of cloud gaming at MTS.

We have already arranged an interview with Ilya about Fog Gaming, if you have questions about the technology and the service itself, write them in the comments. Be sure to ask them and tell about the results in an article on the MTS blog on Habré!

Insert a character – Microsoft Support

Excel for Microsoft 365 Outlook for Microsoft 365 PowerPoint for Microsoft 365 Excel 2021 Outlook 2021 PowerPoint 2021 Visio Professional 2021 Visio Standard 2021 OneNote 2021 Excel 2019Outlook 2019 PowerPoint 2019 Visio Professional 2019 Visio Standard 2019 Excel 2016 Outlook 2016 PowerPoint 2016 OneNote 2016 Visio Professional 2016 Visio Standard 2016 Excel 2013 Outlook 2013 PowerPoint 2013 OneNote 2013 Visio Professional 2013 Excel 2010 Outlook 2010 PowerPoint 2 010 OneNote 2010 Visio Premium 2010 Visio Standard 2010 Excel 2007 Outlook 2007 PowerPoint 2007 OneNote 2007 Visio Standard 2007 More…Less

You can easily insert a special character, fractional part, or other character in PowerPoint presentations and Excel workbooks.

The most important thing to understand is that when inserting symbols, fractions, special characters, or international characters, the font you use is critical. Not all fonts have the same characters. For example, the Humä font does not have fractional characters, while Verdana does not. Thus, it is very important to use the correct font in order to find the right symbol or sign that you need.

These are static characters. If you’re looking for an interactive checkbox that you can select to check or uncheck, see Add a checkbox or option button (Excel).

Symbol, such as currency (¥), music (♫), or flags (✔)

  1. Place the cursor at the location in the file where you want to insert the character.

  2. org/ListItem”>

Navigate to symbol > “Insert” .

  3. Select character or press button “Other symbols” .

  4. Scroll up or down to find the character you want to insert.

Different font sets often contain different characters, and the most commonly used characters are contained in Segoe UI Symbol font set . Use the Font selector above the character list to select the font you want to view.

  5. When you find the symbol you want, double-click it. The symbol will be inserted into the document.

  6. Select Close .

Tip: If you want to make your character larger or smaller, select it and use the Font Size option.

If you’re going to be inserting a character frequently, we recommend that you set up the AutoCorrect feature to insert it for you. You can find more information here: Inserting a checkbox or other symbol using AutoCorrect.

Other character types

Click a section heading below for detailed instructions.

  1. Click or tap where you want to insert the special character.

  2. Navigate to section > > symbols” .

  3. Navigate to special characters .

  4. Double-click the character you want to insert.

Tip: Many special characters have keyboard shortcuts associated with them. If you want to insert a special character again in the future, just press the keyboard shortcut. For example, the keyboard shortcut ALT + CTRL + C inserts the copyright symbol (©).

  5. org/ListItem”>

    Select Close .

Some fractions (1/4, 1/2 and 3/4) are automatically replaced with the corresponding symbols (¼, ½, ¾) when you type. However, the others remain the same (1/3, 2/3, 1/5, etc.), so if you want to paste them as characters, you will need to use the character paste process.

  1. Click or tap where you want to insert a fraction.

  2. Navigate to section > > characters” .

  3. From the Subgroup drop-down list, select Numeric Forms .

Note: Not all fonts have a number form subgroup. If you don’t see the subset of number forms that is available for your font, you must use another font, such as Calibri, to insert the fraction symbol.

  4. Double-click the fraction you want to insert.

  5. Select Close .

Only a small number of common fractions have characters that can be replaced. For more unusual fractions, such as 8/9, you can determine the approximate value of a character by setting the numerator as superscript and the denominator as subscript. For more information, see Insert superscript or subscript text.

If you plan to enter text in other languages, we recommend that you switch the keyboard layout to the selected language. For more information, see Turn on or switch the keyboard layout language.

There are almost always keyboard shortcuts for individual characters in Office. For example:

  • CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+? serves to insert ¿

  • CTRL + SHIFT + ~: Inserts ã after typing “a”.

  • CTRL+SHIFT+: Inserts ü after entering “u”.

For a complete guide to using the keyboard to insert international characters, see the article: Inserting National Letters Using Keyboard Shortcuts.

You can also enter a character code using the keyboard. Symbols and special characters are inserted using ASCII or Unicode codes. When looking up the code for a character, you can determine which one.

  1. Navigate to section > > symbols” .

  2. Scroll up or down the list to find the character you want; note that a font or subset change may be required to find it.

Tip: The Segoe UI Symbol font has a very large selection of Unicode characters to choose from.

  3. At the bottom right you will see fields Character code and from: . The character code is what will need to be entered to insert this character from the keyboard, and of: tells what character it will be.
