how to assemble and turn on, detailed instructions

There are more and more adherents of proper nutrition. Healthy meals without excess oil and fat are increasingly ordered in cafes and restaurants, as well as cooked at home. Many people mistakenly believe that diet food is tasteless. Airfryer debunks stereotypes about healthy food: it cooks meals without the use of oil, which makes them healthier and reduces calories.

  10. Conclusion

The principle of operation of the device

Airfryer is based on an electric oven that heats food not from below, but from above. The device is a round glass container with a volume of 6-17 liters on a plastic stand. The kit includes a cover with a diameter of 300-450 mm. A grate or baking tray is placed inside the appliance, which is laid out on top in its natural form or pre-wrapped in foil.

Everything is covered with a lid with electric heater. It is equipped with a built-in fan and heating device. Depending on the set mode, the dish is processed from 60 to 260°C. The fan evenly distributes the hot air. In this case, the principle of convection is involved. Regulate the temperature with a thermostat.

Features. When choosing a model, pay attention to the fastening of the cover. The hinged cover is more convenient than the removable one.

Device functions

Each device model has different functions. The more of them, the higher the price of .

When choosing an air grill, pay attention to the capabilities of the device:

  1. The temperature maintenance program prevents the cooked dish from cooling down.
  2. Temperature control prevents equipment from overheating thanks to a special sensor.
  3. Air flow rate selection.
  4. Delayed start allows food to be cooked when it suits you. The delay in mechanical models is given for an hour, in electrical appliances it can be shifted by a day (put food in the morning and get dinner in the evening).
  5. Self-cleaning greatly simplifies the care of the device.
  6. Smoking allows you to cook meat, fish, cheese. This will require sawdust from fruit trees or blackcurrant branches. The meat is marinated for at least 12 hours before smoking, the sawdust is poured into a deep bowl, a drip pan and a grate are placed on top, on which the product is placed.
  7. Steamer is a controversial feature. It is not advised to use it often, as a large concentration of steam accumulates in the device, and it can fail.
  8. Stirring. A device with this function requires a special agitator.

Why do you need an air grill? This unit replaces the microwave, steamer, deep fryer, oven and gas oven.

Many housewives have already appreciated the device, noting its advantages:

  • minimum odors when cooking;
  • speed of cooking;
  • maximum preservation of vitamins and nutrients in products;
  • possibility of cooking without fat and oil;
  • safety, no radiation;
  • you can cook a dish for one person or for the whole family;
  • does not take up much space;
  • allows you to cook in almost any cookware, including metal;
  • the cooking process can be controlled.

Airfryer also has disadvantages:

  • the glass flask is very hot, you can not touch the heated structure;
  • dividing grids are difficult to clean;
  • high electricity consumption;
  • weak steaming system.

Air fryer is considered an environmentally friendly device. Nutritionists and cooks speak positively about the device, noting the possibility of cooking food in it without excess fat.

How to use the Airfryer

This kitchen helper can cook everything from first courses to desserts.

Stew, bake, wither vegetables, bake pies, cook jam immediately in jars, dry vegetables and fruits – with this device there will be no problem what to cook. However, before use, it is worth reading the instructions in order to properly use the air grill.

Instructions for assembly and inclusion

How to assemble the air grill after purchase? The device consists of the following parts:

  1. The lid is the most important part of the airfryer. It contains a microprocessor, a heating element and a fan that supplies air to the dishes being prepared. If you lift the lid while the appliance is running, the heating element will turn off and the timer will pause.
  2. Control panel.
  3. The lifting bracket is used to open the lid and lift it up to install the enlarger ring.
  4. The plastic housing is used to prevent contact of the hot flask with the surface of the table and to make it easier to move the airfryer.
  5. Glass flask. Due to its cylindrical shape, hot air streams evenly flow around the product, ensuring even heating during cooking.
  6. Power cord and power socket.

Airfryer accessories supplied with:

  • top grill for making hot sandwiches, eggs;
  • lower grate for stewing, cooking in pots;
  • medium grill for meat dishes and pastries;
  • ring-enlarger to increase the usable volume of the air grill when cooking large fish, meat, chicken;
  • mesh tray for drying herbs, vegetables, frying nuts, croutons;
  • tongs for easy access to hot food and grills;
  • skewers for cooking meat, poultry, fish, vegetables.

Three grids can be used at the same time when cooking smoked fish, shish kebabs, for drying, as well as preparing a set meal for the whole family.

Easy to assemble. A glass flask is placed in a plastic case, covered with a lid on top. The power cord is connected at one end to the mains socket located on the lid of the air grill, and at the other end into the socket.

Check that the lid is closed before using the appliance. The cord must be clearly fixed in the mains socket. If it is defective, the air grill cannot be turned on. Also check the serviceability of the outlet. Incorrect connection will result in damage not covered under warranty.

How to turn on the air fryer after assembly? The operation of the air grill is controlled using the control panel. It displays all information about the time, program, temperature and hot air supply speed. You can also start warming up, self-rinsing and defrosting. The control panel has :

  • electronic timer;
  • enlarger and reducer;
  • arrow buttons for setting the cooking time;
  • “Reset program” button;
  • temperature indicators;
  • temperature control button;
  • hot air speed indicators;
  • fan speed;
  • warm up;
  • “start” – button to start the program;
  • self-cleaning indicator;
  • “Defrost” indicator.

Set the airfryer operating time from 1 minute to 24 hours on the timer. The duration is set using the “increase” and “decrease” buttons. Each press changes the cooking time by one minute. If you press and hold the button, the timer changes faster.

What kind of cookware to use in an airfryer

The temperature in the appliance reaches 260°C, so a container with high heat resistance is required. It is forbidden to use utensils for the microwave, as well as plastic and wooden.

When choosing dishes, it is important to consider which dish will be prepared. To bake meat or cook soup, you will need ceramic pots. For frying meat, glass containers are chosen; for baking, metal baking sheets, non-stick trays, or the same ones that are suitable for a conventional oven are used.

Interesting! Unlike a microwave oven, you can use aluminum utensils, foil, metal, clay, high-quality silicone containers in an air grill.

Cookware is chosen for an air grill following the following recommendations:

  1. Pay attention to the heat resistance and thermal conductivity of the cookware. It must be made of materials that can withstand high temperatures. Aluminum and heat-resistant glass have the highest thermal conductivity, which means that food cooks much faster in such dishes. If food is stewed or baked in clay pots, it will take more time to cook due to the low thermal conductivity of the material.
  2. Look at the thickness of the walls of the containers. To get a golden crust, take dishes with thin walls.
  3. The diameter of the dishes must not exceed 25 cm, otherwise the heat flows will spread unevenly, and the dish will turn out either undercooked or overcooked.

Preparing the device for operation

Before the first preparation, the air grill is prepared for operation:

  1. Free the flask from all additional devices, remove the enlarger ring from it.
  2. Wipe the inside of the glass bulb with a porous sponge.
  3. Plug the power cord into a socket.
  4. Lower the lid onto the flask.

Preheat the appliance before cooking:

  1. Set the timer to 6 minutes, temperature to 260°C. The air fryer will heat up and then automatically turn off with an audible signal. There may be a slight burning smell. This is not harmful and is provided for by the operating rules (this is how excess grease burns out).
  2. Allow airfryer to cool 5 minutes.
  3. Wipe the glass flask again with a porous sponge.

The device is then ready for use.

Instructions for using the Airfryer

There are general instructions for use that apply to all models:

  • preheat the container before use;
  • put food inside and close the lid tightly;
  • set parameters on the control panel: speed, time and temperature;
  • air grill can get very hot, so it is recommended to place it on a heat-resistant surface;
  • do not put dishes or food on the bottom of the bowl, use racks for this;
  • when checking the dish for readiness, carefully open the lid, as there is a risk of getting burned by a stream of hot air;
  • use special dishes;
  • it is forbidden to abruptly disconnect the device from the network.

Operating tips

In order for the equipment to serve for a long time, observe the conditions for working with it:

  1. After the cooking process is completed, turn off the convection oven from the mains by unplugging the cord from the outlet, but not earlier than after 15 minutes.
  2. If water gets inside the control panel, disconnect the equipment from the mains and dry the cover in a dry room for at least 2.5 hours.
  3. Do not use the glass flask for cooking on a gas, electric stove or oven.
  4. Do not use the instrument without a stand under the glass flask.
  5. Do not use abrasive detergents on plastic parts.
  6. Grids are not cleaned with wire brushes.
  7. Protect the flask from shock and sudden changes in temperature.
