    Such a goofy show

    With characters such as the Flea, it’s hard not to talk about this. This was an interesting show to watch. The moves they used were goofy and the gags were usually funny. The show centers around a trio of friends learning how to wrestle so they can the best at their craft. In addition to learning how to, they apply their moves when it comes to saving people from thugs bent on wrecking havoc.

    This show was funny. Not great but worth a watch. If you can, check it out.

    Mucha Lucha! para siempre

    super-ghoulgie-love:

    @muchalucha-art for you

    Socorro Update

    Meanwhile back at teotihuacan…

    …well, my head at least. My body is juxtaposed on the English south coast. I sit on the seafront looking across the channel to France and ponder the next sequence of events for Rayo X and Socorro back in Mexico. I realize I have to be thousands of miles away from something in order to create successfully for it. It’s very surreal, but it’s a method. I will have to take a trip to the pyramids soon though, as my memory is getting fuzzy.

    So where was I…oh yes, Socorro! Three-and-a-half months later and I am a shade over 20 mins into my animatic. Doesn’t sound much, but I am drawing, writing dialogue, adding voices, adding music, composing music as I go along. There’s more twists already than I ever thought there would be and I think my producer is both incredibly intrigued and impressed, and maybe thinks I’m going a little bit doolally. (English slang – look it up 🙂

    My pencil’s holding up, but my drawing stylus has worn right down.

    Just for fun…

    Rayo X apparently always wanted to have his own retro anime series…

    Party Animal

    Just looked at this episode for the first time since it was completed and realized @newlunapastel was indeed correct: it seems that the female students that were designed specifically for this story weren’t really used – with the exception of cameos by Mariposa, La Muneca and Electricity.

    (Now I think back, I hazily remember being a little disappointed the others weren’t used. But at the time I think we were just grateful the story was holding together and the episode turned out okay).

    My guess is that the overseas studio responsible for the animation may have decided to overlook the new characters present in the storyboard panels and just ‘dropped in’ the regular students in their place for convenience.

    So absolutely no Princess Enigma at all. None, nada zilch.

    And so with that I am RECLAIMING her! A team up with the masked enigma himself at some point maybe?
