In connection with the proliferation of high-speed NVMe drives, you need to attach aging SATA somewhere. The easiest way is to build a high-speed flash drive. This model is distinguished by the presence of a USB Type A plug and can do without wires, which in my opinion is very convenient. 2230, 2242, 2260 and 22*80 format drives are supported. A tested ASM1153E as a bridge.
As an alternative, I can recommend the time-tested JEYI containers. You can choose with two different plugs or one USB Type C.
