all serious”
The main storyline of the series revolves around Walter White, a fifty-year-old teacher who teaches chemistry in high school. Walter is short of money, so in his spare time from teaching, Mr. White works part-time at a car wash, which causes a surge of irony and ridicule from his students. Finances are barely enough to support a family consisting of a pregnant wife and a disabled son. White’s brother-in-law (his name is Hank) builds a career in the Drug Enforcement Administration and one day invites the main character to take part in a raid on a drug dealer who manufactures illegal drugs. During the raid, Mr. White recognizes the criminal as his former student, who so desperately mocked him within the walls of the school a few years ago. Instead of handing the offender into the hands of the authorities, Walter makes a bet with him, according to which they start manufacturing methamphetamine together, in the hope of increasing their financial situation. Walter White can be understood: falling into a hole of lack of money and standing on the verge of a divorce from his wife, he is diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Recalling Hank’s stories about the profitability of drug dealing and trying to regain the respect of his family, Walter White comes up with a plan to enrich his pocket in the hope that after his death, loved ones will not need anything. The hero has nothing to lose, so together with his new partner, he rents a trailer and leaves for the desert, where the school teacher begins to cook methamphetamine according to his proprietary formula. The novelty becomes popular, and Walter and his assistant receive money they could not even dream of. However, the rich also cry, and with big money, a chemistry teacher gets big problems …
Breaking Bad watch online all seasons and episodes
Why do you need to watch Breaking Bad all seasons?
Breaking Bad, according to critics, started a “revolution” on television. Showrunner Vince Gilligan, as well as the script team, tried to keep the audience interested. Why you should get acquainted with the neo-western: here are the main reasons:
- The show has 137 awards, including 16 Emmys;
- The main character is an antagonist, not a positive character: already an intrigue;
- Walter White experiences “reverse evolution”, turning from a good man into a monster: unconventional;
- This is a mixture of thriller, black humor comedy, drama and crime thriller;
- Impressive cast;
- Positive reviews from critics;
- Lostfilm professional dubbing.
“Breaking Bad” all seasons are available online in high quality HD 1080 on any mobile devices, tablets and computers on our website for free, without registration.
A dream come true to make a western
Gilligan’s passion for classic Hollywood films with Clint Eastwood and John Wayne shaped the taste of the creator of Breaking Bad. His career as a screenwriter and producer began with The X-Files. But, having worked on the show for 8 years, dreaming of a solo project, he decided to act contrary to the “canons”, making the central character a villain.
The drama caused heated debate. Film experts praised the non-banal approach, the original plot, when you don’t know what to expect in the next season or episode. And some viewers – for example, representatives of believing Christian denominations – were outraged by the moral message (the sinner gets away with everything for too long). But this is the power of art: to strike at the very heart, to make you think. Therefore, the TV show got into the world ratings. All seasons of Breaking Bad can be watched more than once, not twice, even years after the premiere.
Tough casting
The producers’ first choice for the role of Walter White was Matthew Broderick (Hawk Lady, Inspector Gadget). The offer coincided with an audition for a Broadway musical, and the candidate dropped out, choosing the scene over the series. Critics later agreed that it would have made for a controversial “drug lord”. The artist succeeds in the images of soft-bodied intellectuals, but could he portray a scoundrel with the same talent? When the second applicant, John Cusack, was also busy, the casting assistants became discouraged.
But the showrunner remembered performer Bryan Cranston, who was already portraying a terminally ill character in a desperate situation. Not spoiled by the proposals of the producers, the 51-year-old actor agreed. “Breaking Bad” was the beginning of a brilliant round of his career.
Long business trip
The film crew did not waste time on trifles and left “to the scene”, setting up a camp in Albuquerque, where the serial Whites live. Pinkman was “settled” in the building of a country club. And the chemistry teacher himself with his wife and son “lived” in a rented mansion, for which the producers laid out $ 500,000.
The debut of the novelty of the AMC channel took place in January 2008. Since then, the creators have released 62 episodes, the show lasted until the fall of 2013. Later, the TV show became available for download, and you can also watch Breaking Bad online for free, including in Russian voice acting. The viewer is free to choose the “brutal” voice acting (all seasons and series) of the Cube in the Cube company or the intelligent version of Lostfilm.
Greed has won
The teacher’s degradation in the series began when he was told about a fatal illness, lung cancer. The idea that came up to “brew” meth, as well as to sell the drug in order to leave money to relatives, at first seems like a temporary and forced “measure”.
