KnuKonceptz Kolossus amp installation kit’s feature our top of the line Kolossus Fleks power and ground cables. Made up of ultra flexible pvc and ultra fine tinned strands of oxygen free copper (OFC), the Kolossus Kable is the standard for which all others are compared to. The KOL-AK4-4 amp kit provides 18 feet of blue marine grade, full copper battery power wire and 3 feet of translucent black (smoke) ground wire. The KnuKonceptz FH-44 fuse holder with a 120A Mini ANL fuse is provided within the KOL-AK4-4 amp install kit, but can be upgraded to a maximum of 150A Mini ANL fuse (sold separately MANL-150). The fuse holder does not come installed within the cable, this allows the installer to place the inline fuse holder in an optimum location during installation. It also allows the installer to extend the power wire 1-3′ by using the inline fuse holder to add cable to the main run (leaving the 16.5′ as one unit and using the FH-44 to “splice” a few feet of wire)

Signal for your 4 channel amplifier installation kit is carried by two Klarity Kable 5 Meter (16.25′) RCA Cable. The Klarity RCA Cable is a copper braid shielded coaxial RCA that uses a Hybrid metal/molded RCA termination with strain relief for a durable, low loss connection to your head unit and amplifier. A separate remote turn on lead is included. This wire is connected to your radio’s power antenna lead or amp turn on lead (refer to your head unit’s manual) Your amplifier’s output is sent through KnuKonceptz Kord 12 gauge speaker wire, 20 feet of 12 gauge blue speaker wire is included with the kit.

How many watts can this amp kit handle?

At KnuKonceptz, we do not use “watts” to rate our amp kits. This is a very inaccurate method to determine what the proper gauge wire required for your amp installation. There are many amp manufactures and not all of them represent the output of their product accurately. Please refer to your amplifier’s fuse rating, this is a number a manufacture can not fake, well they could but it would put their product in harms way! Add up the fuses on the end of your amp (three 25A fuses = 75A total draw) If this number is under 120A, this kit will fit your application. If over 120A, but less then 150A, this kit will work, but a 150A mini-ANL fuse is required (sold separate) If over 150A, this amp install kit will not work for that application, that installation would require 2 gauge or larger wire.

I received my amp installation kit, but the Mini-ANL fuse is not in the FH-44 inline fuse holder?

The Mini-ANL fuse is located in the parts bag along with the ring terminals and snap bushings. It is not installed so that the installer can complete the install and add the fuse after all connections are made.

Can I alter this kit in any way before purchasing?

Our amp kits are made in large batches to reduce cost, which is passed onto you. We can not alter them in any way. Should you need to make alterations, you would have to purchase the items individually from our shopping cart.

Soundqubeds NEW and improved amplifier wiring kits. These wiring kits are CCA and offer an affordable price while providing everything you need to get the amplifier wired up with style. Right now, Soundqubed offers these amplifier kits with green 17 foot of power and 3 foot, black grounds wire. Both wires to come with a crimped ring terminal on the end that is already heat chrunk for you. From there, you just need to determine where you want to plce your fuse. The fuse block is a Set Screw style fuse holder that comes loaded with a 100Amp MANL fuse. The kits also come with 17′ of green remote wire and 18′, 2 channel twisted RCA’s. In the 4 gauge amp kit, it comes with 10′ of 14 Gauge Speaker wire. Along with the amp kit, is inlcuded a rubber ring grommet, zip ties, and a couple different screws for securing your fuse holder.
